3-9-15 highway construction season nearing

The highway construction season is right around the corner in Fond du lac County.  Highway commissioner Tom Jahnke says work is expected to begin in about a month with the biggest project of the season on a five mile stretch of Highway I that runs parallel to Highway 41.  Jahnke says several other road projects are planned for the southeast section of the county.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A person familiar the negotiations says the Green Bay Packers have agreed to a four-year deal, $40 million deal with receiver Randall Cobb. The person spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity on Saturday night because no one was authorized to talk about the deal before it was officially announced. LODI, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say one person is in custody after officials at Lodi high school reported they had a "credible threat" of a possible gun on school property. Police say they were called to the school at 11:35 a.m. today, and the school went on lockdown. Authorities searched the school. Police took one person into custody, but they have not said whether a gun was found.
