A man and woman from Oshkosh have been bound over for trial in connection with a robbery at the Guaranty Bank in Fond du Lac last month. Probable cause was found at a preliminary hearing Friday for 26 year old Maranatha Henderson and 35 year old Shafia Jones. Police detective Bill Ledger says Henderson admitted to robbing the bank and says Jones wrote the robbery note that was handed to the teller. Ledger says the pair had staked out the bank a day before the robbery. The Guaranty Bank inside the West Johnson Street Pick N Save store was robbed on Sunday March 15th and the suspects were arrested a couple weeks later in Oshkosh.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
