MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A pair of Republican lawmakers wants to do away with a perk for Wisconsin state senators and representatives. They circulated a bill this week that would no longer allow state lawmakers to accumulate unused sick leave, which can then be converted to credits to pay for health insurance upon retirement. The bill is sponsored by Senator Rob Cowles of Allouez and Representative David Steffen of Howard.
