A jury trial is underway in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court this week for a Milwaukee man charged in connection with the heroin overdose death of a  Fond du lac woman.   Roy Whitelow is charged with first degree reckless homicide in  the death of Heather Fugate.   He was arrested almost two years ago. AAA hopes a new study on driving habits will help guide what motorists can do to stay safe when behind the wheel.  State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz says the study found on average, Americans drive 29.2 miles a day,  making two trips with an average total duration of 46 minutes.  Both teenagers and seniors over age 75 drive less than any other age group.  Jarmuscz says this is the first […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Another University of Wisconsin System school will offer employee buyouts to help cushion massive cuts looming in Republican Gov. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Boater Safety Course to be held at the Emergency Government Center – 160 S.
