4-16-15 dodge county burglary suspect convicted

One of two suspects convicted for a string of daytime burglaries in Dodge County in November and December of 2013 is going to prison.   Dodge County Circuit Court Judge Brian Pfitzinger sentenced 33 year old Nicholas Dambruch to 12 years of initial confinement and 12 years of extended supervision, as well as a withheld probation term of 4 years. MADISON, Wis. 4-16-15 eab confirmed in city of fdl

The City of Fond du Lac discovered an ash tree infested by the Emerald Ash Borer   in the southwest part  of the City last week.  DNR officials have confirmed that it is the EAB.  Although an EAB infestation was found just south of the City limits in December, 2013, this is the first confirmed find within the City.  Public Works director Jordan Skiff says the discovery represents a significant […]

4-16-15 small grass fire at lakeside park may have been intentionally set

A small grass fire at Lakeside Park was quickly extinguished before it could spread.  Firefighters were called to Lakeside Park west shortly after 1:3opm Wednesday.  A police officer extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived on the scene.  Fire chief Pete O’Leary says the cause appears to be suspicious.  A soda bottle wrapped in a rag was found at the scene.
