4-15-15 fdl firefighters respond to brush fires

Fond du lac firefighters were busy Tuesday evening extinguishing several  brush fires on the southside of town.  Fire chief Pete O’Leary says firefighters were called to an area near the train tracks at Pioneer and Hickory Roads shortly after 5pm.  A MABAS Box Alarm was called to bring several brush trucks and personnel to assist with firefighting efforts. 4-15-15 seymour street bridge closed for repair

Starting Wednesday the Seymour Street bridge between Grove Street  and West 11th Street in Fond du Lac will be closed for about a month for repair work.  Crewws will be renovating the bridge deck, including milling and overlay work.  The entire project is expected to be completed by June.  There will be no posted detour route.
