4-23-15 fdl man charged with setting fire to ellis street home

4-23-15 convicted fdl child sex offender to be released from prison

A convicted child sex offender is being released from prison and will be living in Fond du Lac County.  Sheriff Mick Fink says James Broeders will be getting out of prison next week and will be living at a residence at N8570 Nitschke Road in Van Dyne.  Broders spent several years in prison for sexually assaulting two girls, ages 13 and 14.

4-23-15 drug busts-dodge county

Two Beaver Dam men have been arrested as part of a drug sweep in  Dodge County.  Officers with the Dodge County Drug Task Force have arrested 49 year old Eddie Morris and 36 year old Gary Campbell. 4-23-15 budget panel votes to eliminate 13 dnr positions

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Thirteen vacant positions in the state Department of Natural Resources that deal with fish and wildlife issues would be eliminated under a vote by the Legislature's budget committee.  The Joint Finance Committee voted 12-4 Wednesday to cut 13 vacant positions to save just over $1 million. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The state Department of Natural Resources would continue to get funding to pay for removal of deer struck by motorists on Wisconsin roadways under a vote by the Legislature's budget committee.  The Republican-controlled Joint Finance Committee voted against Gov.
