A Fond du Lac man accused of setting fire to his home has been bound over for trial. Twenty nine year old Colin Habram waived his preliminary hearing. He is charged with arson, accused of setting fire to a residence at 410 Ellis Street April 14th. Investigators say Habram was trying to collect insurance money to buy heroin. Habram is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
