todayMay 12, 2015

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new audit says the company Wisconsin contracted with to provide medical transportation for low and moderate income people failed to pick up patients on time, or did not arrive at all, thousands of times over an 11-month period. The report looked at the performance of Medical Transportation Management, a company the state contracted to provide trips to medical assistance recipients. The audit says the contract required 99.7 percent of MTM’s trips to be complaint free. But the audit says the company only met that standard three months between August 2013 and June 2014.
