Fond du Lac based Wells Manufacturing has been sold to a Japanese company.  Wells was sold to NGK NCT Spark Plug Co. for $257. 5 million.  Wells has been in Fond du Lac since 1902 and a Wells spokesman says the company will remain in Fond du lac.  The company employs more than 600 people including 250 at Wells Vehicle Electronics on West Rolling Meadows Drive.  NGK Spark Plug Co., […]

5-8-15 woman bound over for trial in forest mall shoplifting and police standoff

5-8-15 proposed recycling program cuts-fdl impact

5-8-15 fdl street closure

Starting Friday the intersection of West Division Street and Brooke Street in  Fond du Lac will be closed for utility repair work.  The road closure is expected to last about a week.  Businesses on Division Street within the construction zone will remain open to customer traffic. Traffic to the businesses will need to use Military Road or Doty Street.  There will be no marked detour routes.
