5-2-15 fdl high school senior wins kohl scholarship

A Fond du Lac High School senior is the recipient of a Herb Kohl scholarship.  A $3000 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation 2015 Excellence Scholarship was  recently presented to Emily Belling,  at a recognition luncheon hosted by the retired U.S. Senator.   The Herb Kohl Fellowship recognizes students who have demonstrated academic potential,  outstanding leadership, citizenship, community service, integrity and other special talents.

A Fond du Lac man accused of setting fire to his home has been  bound over for trial.  Twenty nine year old Colin Habram  waived  his preliminary hearing.  He is charged with arson,  accused of setting fire to a residence at 410 Ellis Street April 14th.    Investigators say Habram was trying to collect insurance money to buy heroin.  Habram is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail […]
