6-17-15 fdl restaurant ripped on social media over handling of fire department takeout order

Fond du Lac residents are using social media to criticize a restaurant for demanding payment from firefighters who didn’t pick up their order because they were responding to a fire.  On Friday June 5^th  six firefighters ordered takeout from the Cool River Sports Grill and Bar but then were called to a garage fire and later the vacant convent building fire.  Division Chief of Fire Prevention Troy Haase says the restaurant later demanding full payment even though the fire department had to cancel its order.  The fire department says its not looking for special treatment, just a little more understanding.
