A Fond du Lac mountaineer who survived deadly earthquake on Mount Everest will share his story during a presentation this week.  Andy Land will make a slideshow presentation at 7pm Thursday  at the Marian University Stayer Center.  There will be a five dollar charge and Land says the proceeds will go to the Sherpa Fund to help earthquake victims.  Land’s climbing team was rescued by helicopter after the earthquake struck.   Land was attempting the climb to raise awareness and money for hospice care.
