MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Two Democratic members of the board that runs Governor Scott Walker’s troubled economic development agency are calling for the CEO of the organization to resign. Reed Hall has led the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation since October 2012. State Rep. Peter Barca and state Sen. Julie Lassa say Hall hasn’t done enough to stop wrongdoing and mismanagement of taxpayer money.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
