MILWAUKEE (AP) — An invasive worm that's turned up in several parts of the state since its first spotting in 2013 is the target of a new public education campaign by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Jumping worms are known to destroy surrounding vegetation.

Fond du Lac County Public Health officials are taking a new approach to addressing the obesity problem. 6-24-15 fdl city council president says no leniency this time for retlaw hotel

6-24-15 fatal motorcycle vs. suv crash in dodge county

A Ripon man was killed when his motorcycle collided with an SUV in Dodge County.  The crash happened Tuesday on Highway 151 at the intersection with Hemlock Road.  The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the Harley Davidson motorcycle was southbound  on 151 when it collided with a Toyota Rav-4 that was merging onto the highway from County Highway A.  The motorcycle overturned in the median at the intersection with Hemlock […]

6-24-15 kayaker drowns in rock river in horicon marsh

Horicon police say a kayaker drowned in the Rock River in the Horicon Marsh.  Rescue personnel were called to the Horicon Marsh shoreline  area at the end of Vine St for a kayak accident and located the drowning victim and family members along the shore.  CPR was already in progress.
