CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Faith and past family backcountry camping experiences helped three sisters survive for more than four days while they were lost in a Wyoming wilderness area. Twenty-five-year-old Megan Sharer of Milwaukee, and 22-year-old Erin Sharer and 16-year-old Kelsi Sharer and their parents appeared in public for the first time Friday at a news conference in the resort town of Jackson.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
