The chairman of the Fond du Lac County Republican party says it’s a good day for the country. Dan Feyen was in Waukesha Monday for Governor Scott Walker’s announcement that he is running for president. “We knew it was coming. I think its a good day for Governor Walker’s family, and a good day for our country and a good day for Wisconsin,” Feyen told AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program. Feyen says he believes Walker is one of the top tier candidates. “He has to communicate with the voters. He has to talk to the people on the campaign trail about what he’s done here in Wisconsin with those reforms and how its lowered the tax burden for the average Wisconsinite.” Feyen says the fact that Walker has won three elections in four years shows that he is tested and says he believes Walker has already made a name for himself across the country.
