MADISON, Wis. (AP) — New documents show the University of Wisconsin-Madison will take a nearly $59 million hit this budget year under a total $250 million cut to the UW System in the state budget. System officials released their 2015-16 budget Monday. 7-7-15 tornado touchdowns in northeast wisconsin

SHAWANO, Wis. (AP) — A line of tornadoes has moved across northeastern Wisconsin, causing some damage in the rural area.  The National Weather Service in Green Bay says spotters reported four tornado touchdowns in a line stretching about 50 miles Monday evening.  Weather service meteorologist Rich Mamrosh says some home and barn damage was reported, but no deaths or injuries.  Mamrosh says the tornadoes were unusual because they were not […]

A 16 year old boy and an adult male have been arrested following a disturbance at the Fond du Lac skateboard park over the weekend.  Assistant police chief Steve Thiry says on Saturday a group of young children,  ages 6-11 left  the park after they were confronted by an older group of teenagers.   The young kids returned with their parents where the incident escalated.  Two bicycles were damaged and […]
