7-2-15 fdl restaurant sued for airing boxing match

A California-based sports production company is suing a Fond du Lac restaurant for airing a boxing match without paying the required fees.  The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Milwaukee alleges Sombrero’s Restaurant showed a fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley in April 2014 without paying a fee in violation of the Federal Communications Act.  The violation carries a potential fine of up to $170,000.

7-2-15 competency exam ordered for ripon man accused of hiding his brother’s body

A Fond du Lac judge has ordered a competency exam for a Ripon man accused of hiding his brother’s body. 7-2-15 two convicted fdl child sex offenders sentenced to prison
