8-11-15 new assistant principal at fondy high

Fond du Lac High School has a new assistant principal.  The Fond du Lac School Board has approved the hiring of Kevin Krutzik to the post.  Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says Krutzik comes to Fond du Lac from Oshkosh where he was the principal at Lourdes Academy and before that taught in the Manitowac School District.  Kritzik replaces Anthony Pizzo who accepted a position in Pewaukee.

8-11-15 residential fire cause listed as “undetermined”

The cause of a fire last week that damaged a Fond du lac home will be listed as undetermined.  Firefighters were called to  111 West McWilliams Street and found fire and smoke coming from the upstairs window of the home.  The fire was extinguished quickly, but not before the upstairs suffered heavy fire and smoke damage.  Assistant chief of fire prevention Troy Haase says at this point fire investigators are […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers oppose a bill that would ban the use of aborted fetal tissue in Wisconsin. 8-10-15 counselor on hand at stem academy following death of student in atv accident

A counselor will be available this afternoon at the STEM Academy in Fond du lac after a student died in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Missouri.  Grant Corbin died in the accident Thursday.  He was seriously injured in a bicycle accident in Fond du Lac last fall.  A counselor will be on hand from 1-3 pm today at the STEM Academy.   Grant’s funeral will be held in St. Louis, Missouri.
