Fond du Lac High School has a new assistant principal. The Fond du Lac School Board has approved the hiring of Kevin Krutzik to the post. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says Krutzik comes to Fond du Lac from Oshkosh where he was the principal at Lourdes Academy and before that taught in the Manitowac School District. Kritzik replaces Anthony Pizzo who accepted a position in Pewaukee.
The cause of a fire last week that damaged a Fond du lac home will be listed as undetermined. Firefighters were called to 111 West McWilliams Street and found fire and smoke coming from the upstairs window of the home. A counselor will be available this afternoon at the STEM Academy in Fond du lac after a student died in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Missouri. Grant Corbin died in the accident Thursday.
