A Fond du Lac automobile dealership has a new president. Holiday Automotive CEO Mike Shannon has announced the appointment of Thor Gilbertson to the post. Gilbertson has held high level management and leadership positions with two of the state’s largest auto retailers, most recently as vice president of GM brands with Bergstrom Automotive. “Thor is a well known and seasoned automotive executive with outstanding credentials. He was Chief Operating Officer (COO) with the Zimbrick organization (19 years) in the Madison area, and most recently, V.P. of GM brands with the Bergstrom Automotive Group (9 years) in the Fox Valley”, stated Shannon. “Thor’s passion for the business, level of experience, talents and competencies make him a great fit for us!” Shannon has been president since 1985 and says he will be taking on a transitional and oversight role as company CEO.
