MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The presidential campaign of Republican Gov. Scott Walker says he plans to talk about “wreaking havoc” on Washington D.C. in his upcoming speech in Illinois at the alma mater of former President Ronald Reagan. Walker is also expected to release promises describing what he would do on his first day as president. Walker has already said he would end the Iranian arms deal and propose repealing and replacing the federal health care law on his first day.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
