OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Oshkosh police have released the name of a 42-year-old woman who was fatally shot in an apartment. Authorities on Monday identified the victim as Stacey Strange. Autopsy results show Strange died of multiple gunshots. Police were called on a report of gunshots just after 1 a.m. Sunday. Officers found Strange dead in an upper apartment. A 30-year-old man sought in the killing was later arrested in Oshkosh. Police say the investigation continues.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
