Michael Tagliapietra won gold  in the P3 (Mixed 25m Pistol SH1) event at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Shooting World Cup in Sydney, Australia.  Tagliapietra (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin) qualified for the Final in the eighth and last position with a score of 562. 9-18-15 town of ripon hires suspended former meg drug agent

The Town of Ripon has hired a former MEG Drug Unit agent  who was suspended in 2012 for having a sexual relationship with an informant.  Town of Ripon officials say Greg Weitz has been hired as a part time police officer.  Weitz was placed on unpaid suspension for misconduct and later resigned.

9-18-15 dodge county shooting suspect makes court appearance

A Madison man has made his initial Dodge County Circuit Court appearance after allegedly shooting at another vehicle Sunday night outside of the Fox Lake Kwik Trip.  21 year old Anthony McCaskill Jr. is charged with discharging a firearm towards a person, endangering safety/reckless use of a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.  Bail was set at 25 thousand dollars cash.  The incident allegedly unfolded after McCaskill and his girlfriend […]

9-18-15 milwaukee woman sentenced in dodge county stabbing

A Milwaukee woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the stabbing death of a Fox Lake man.   Dodge County Circuit judge, Brian Pfitzinger, sentenced 31 year old Kriscilla McHenry to 20 years in prison and 20 years extended supervision in the stabbing death of Michael Soeller in a Randolph motel in August 2014.  Police say the victim was stabbed 38 times.   McHenry was convicted of second […]

The North Fond du Lac Fire Chief has resigned his position in  the village following his arrest this week on felony theft charges in Pennsylvania.  Richard Zmuda was arrested Wednesday afternoon after North Fond du Lac police received an arrest warrant from Bradford, Pennsylvania police.  North Fond du lac police chief Darren Pautsch says Zmuda is accused of stealing more than $47,000 from an elderly aunt.  Zmuda appeared in Fond […]
