The Town of Ripon has hired a former MEG Drug Unit agent who was suspended in 2012 for having a sexual relationship with an informant. Town of Ripon officials say Greg Weitz has been hired as a part time police officer. Weitz was placed on unpaid suspension for misconduct and later resigned.

A Milwaukee woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for the stabbing death of a Fox Lake man. Dodge County Circuit judge, Brian Pfitzinger, sentenced 31 year old Kriscilla McHenry to 20 years in prison and 20 years extended supervision in the stabbing death of Michael Soeller in a Randolph motel in August 2014.
