MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Ho-Chunk Nation has voted to change the rules on using marijuana on its tribal lands. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Governor Scott Walker says he won't accept a Cabinet position if a Republican is elected president. Walker made the comments in a call with donors Wednesday, two days after he abruptly dropped out of the race. Walker also told donors he plans to stay on as governor through the end of his term.
The unemployment rate is down locally in the latest reporting period. The city of Fond du Lac’s unemployment rate in August was 3.8 percent, down from 4.5 percent in July. Fond du Lac county’s rate dropped from 4.1 to 3.6 percent. The Dodge County unemployment rate fell six tenths of a percent to 3.8 percent.
A homeless couple is accused of having sex in a public bathroom in Fond du lac and living on the roof of the building.
