A Greenfield Wisconsin man who died when his motorcycle crashed into a tree in Fond du lac County has been identified. Sheriff’s Sergeant Jeff Bonack says 71 year old Clark Boerschinger died when his motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve on Highway G south of Highway 67, entered the ditch and struck a tree. The crash happened shortly after 10:30am Saturday . Speed and alcohol were not factors. The operator was not wearing a helmet.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
