A Reeseville man faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of possession of child pornography. Thirty four year old Adam Rogers was convicted of 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography after a two-day jury trial in Dodge County. A Wisconsin Department of Justice analyst testified that the defendant had approximately 40,000 provocative images of children, the majority of which met the definition of child pornography. The defendant will be sentenced in the coming months, and faces a maximum penalty of 500 years in prison and two million dollars in fines.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
