MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin state Senate committee vote on a bill making it easier to hire and fire state workers has been canceled. The bill opposed by unions representing state workers and Democrats had been scheduled for a committee vote on Tuesday.

10-13-15 motorcycle fatality victim identified

A Greenfield Wisconsin man who died when his motorcycle crashed into a tree in Fond du lac County has been identified.  Sheriff’s Sergeant Jeff Bonack says 71 year old Clark Boerschinger  died when his motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve on Highway G south of Highway 67, entered the ditch and struck a tree.  The crash happened shortly after 10:30am Saturday .  Speed and alcohol were not factors. 10-12-15 historic designation pursued for two fdl catholic school buildings

WOODSTOCK, Ill.
