MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Madison attorney Claude Covelli has applied for an appointment to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, saying he is "truly nonpartisan."  The 68-year-old Covelli said Monday he submitted an application to Gov. MILWAUKEE (AP) — Summerfest at Milwaukee's lakefront may be a few seasons away, but organizers are already announcing a headline act.  World Festival said Monday Selena Gomez will play the Marcus Amphitheater on the opening night of Summerfest, Wednesday, June 29th.  Tickets for the show are on sale Saturday, Oct. 17.

PLYMOUTH, Wis. (AP) — Dairy Farmers of America has announced plans to close a cheese plant in Plymouth, eliminating 300 jobs.   plant is expected to be closed in January because it has out-of-date technology and infrastructure.  The plant makes Borden cheese and private-label cheese products.
