Fond du lac police are investigating a motel robbery.  On October 25, 2015 at 11:09 p.m. the Fond du Lac Police Department responded to a reported robbery at the Microtel Hotel (920 S. A 34 year old Oshkosh man was killed in a one vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County.   The victim has been identified as Joshua Francis Stuhr.  The state patrol says shortly before 9pm Saturday a Nissan Maxima was reported to be traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on US 45 just south of Subway Road when the driver lost control, and the vehicle slid sideways and […]

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Flags are flying at half-staff across the state for a Wisconsin airman killed in Afghanistan. Twenty-one-year-old Airman Quinn Johnson-Harris was a 2012 graduate of Homestead High School in the Milwaukee suburb of Mequon. Johnson-Harris was among 11 people killed October 2nd when an Air Force C-130 crashed at a base in Afghanistan. His memorial service was held Saturday at Christian Faith Fellowship in Milwaukee.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker has signed into law a bill that does away with secret John Doe investigations into political misconduct.  Walker has been involved in two John Doe investigations, neither of which resulted in him being charged. The most recent probe involved Walker's recall campaign and conservative groups. The state Supreme Court ended the investigation in July, saying there was nothing unconstitutional about the campaign coordination. […]
