The Department of Natural Resources has restarted the master planning process for the Horicon-Shaw Planning Group. This Dodge County Planning Group includes the Horicon Marsh Wildlife Area, Shaw Marsh Wildlife Area, Sinnissippi Public Hunting Ground and Horicon Rough Fish Station.  The department began master planning for the Horicon-Shaw Planning Group in September 2014 with a public input opportunity, including a public meeting on Sept. 10, 2014. The planning process was placed on hold in November 2014 to allow the department to complete a master plan for the Woodboro Lakes Wildlife Area. All comments received during the earlier input process will be carried forward and considered in the development of the master plan.  A second comment period will run through Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015 – the public is invited to share their comments on important issues that should be included in the master plan via an online comment form<http://22.selectsurvey.net/DNR/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=88K0ll25>.
