11-18-15 ripon college political science professor says foreign policy will take center stage in presidential race

A Ripon College political science professor says the terrorist attacks in Paris will undoubtedly change the focus of the presidential campaign.  Up to now the candidates have been largely focused on economic issues.  But professor Marty Farrell says at least in the near term the attention now will be on which candidate has the best grasp on foreign policy.  “I think it could have a major impact,”  Farrell told WFDL news.  “This is extremely dramatic, this is the worst attack since 9-11.  I think it could increase the importance of foreign policy and specifically how to deal with this ISIS group.”
