todayNovember 20, 2015

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker’s approval rating hasn’t rebounded nearly two months after he dropped out of the presidential race.  A Marquette University Law School poll showed Thursday that the Republican governor’s approval rating was at 38 percent, a 1-point rise from September, when the score hit its lowest point since Walker took office.  The survey of 803 registered voters was done from Nov. 12 to Nov. 15. The margin of error was 4.2 percentage points.  The poll also shows that former Sen. Russ Feingold has an edge over incumbent Sen. Ron Johnson. It indicates 49 percent of respondents prefer Feingold, a Democrat, and 38 percent back Johnson, a Republican.  Feingold’s 11-point advantage was down 3 points from September, a change within the poll’s margin of error.
