MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner is investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy who was a passenger in a car driven by a 15-year-old driver. Investigators say the 15-year-old lost control of the vehicle early Saturday in Milwaukee and struck a tree. The passenger was pronounced dead Saturday night at Children’s Hospital.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
