A ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony was held this week for a new Campbellsport business. 11-21-15 campbellsport convent to be razed

A former convent in Campbellsport will be taken down sometime after the first of the year.  St. Joseph Convent has been vacant for almost a year and is in disrepair.  It was the home to the School Sisters of St. Francis.  A spokesman says efforts to sell the brick building were not successful and the structure will be razed probably in February.  A rummage sale was held last weekend. Lakeshore Student Council recently conducted a food drive to collect items for local food pantries. 11-20-15 fire destroys waupun mobile home

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a mobile home near Waupun.  Waupun firefighters were called  to the scene at N3419 West Center Road  for a report of a mobile home filling with smoke.  Upon arrival, smoke was visible from the roof with fire in a hallway and back storage room.
