12-2-15 theisen middle school students show appreciation to crossing guard

Theisen Middle School sixth graders in Laura Knueppel’s Social Studies class along with their teacher and instructional assistant, Linda Barthuly, decided to express their appreciation to crossing guard Pedro Arellano Jr. for the valuable service he provides in helping to keep Theisen students safe…rain or shine. The students presented him with a gift basket containing hot cocoa mix, a hat and scarf, cookies, candy, chocolates, hand and foot warmers, a coffee mug, and a Visa gift card.
