12-27-15 fdl family dollar store robbed at gunpoint

Nobody was injured in an armed robbery at a Fond du lac Family Dollar store.  Police were called shortly before 9am Sunday to the store at 47 West Scott Street.  Police say a man wearing a ski mask entered the store, threatened the clerk with a handgun and demanded money.  The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in what was described as a maroon-rust colored Ford Bronco or old Blazer-style SUV.   The suspect was described as between 25 and 30 years old.  Anyone with information is asked to call Fond du lac police.
