12-10-15 fatal fire-new holstein

A 47-year-old man was found dead after a residential fire in New Holstein.  Firefighters were called to the scene at 1713 Monroe St. at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Firefighters attempted to enter the house but were turned back because of the extreme heat. After several hours the fire was knocked down, and the victim was found dead in the home.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.  The Red Cross and the Salvation […]

A Waupun man has been charged with a Child Sex Offender Working With Children.   Fifty year old David Edwards made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance this week.  Waupun police chief Dale Heeringa says Edwards was arrested following a trucker’s parade last August.  Edwards is accused of working on a float in the parade with children and giving a young girl a ride in his vehicle after the parade.
