12-3-15 three vehicle injury crash on 151 bypass

Two people were injured in a three vehicle crash on the Highway 151 Bypass in Fond du Lac.  Sheriff’s captain Rick Olig says the crash happened shortly before 9am when a car was attempting to turn from the Bypass onto Camelot Drive.  Olig says the northbound vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle causing it to roll over , striking a vehicle stopped at the stop sign on Camelot Drive.. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff doesn’t want a convicted violent sex offender from Milwaukee County living in Fond du Lac County.   Sheriff Mick Fink says he received a letter from the Department of Health Services three days before Thanksgiving that Clint Rhymes was going to be placed at a  town of Eldorado residence. WFDL news has learned the historic Retlaw Hotel in downtown Fond du lac has closed its doors. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Longtime Wisconsin Lottery director Mike Edmonds plans to step down. Edmonds' last day will be Dec. 18 after some 12 years on the job. Lottery spokeswoman Stephanie Marquis confirmed that Edmonds gave notice last month of his plans to leave. An 18-year-old man received serious, but non life-threatening injuries in a one vehicle rollover crash in Fond du Lac County. 12-3-15 wi supreme court won’t restart probe of walker recall campaign

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Supreme Court has refused to reconsider its decision to end the "John Doe" investigation into Gov. Scott Walker's recall campaign.  The state Government Accountability Board and Milwaukee prosecutors launched the investigation in 2012, to look into whether the Republican governor's campaign illegally coordinated with outside conservative groups on issue ads.  The Supreme Court halted the investigation in July, ruling such coordination was legal.  Francis […]
