todayJanuary 5, 2016

You wouldn’t know it the way the winter started…but snowfall totals in parts of  Wisconsin ended the year pretty close to normal.  National Weather Service meteorologist Justin Schultz  told WFDL news that ten inches of snow and even more than a foot  in some places last week helped bring totals closer to average. Schultz says when It comes to temperatures in December its another story.  Schutlz  says prior to the cold snap heading into the New Year’s holiday temperatures were at an all time high for the month.  “We started out the month (December) well above normal temperatures,”  Schultz said.  Schultz says on December 23rd Fond du lac set a record high of 56 degrees.  The average high temperature in December is 28.
