Seven seats on the Dodge County Board will be contested in 2016. County Clerk Karen Gibson says those seats that are contested that will appear on the April 5th ballot are in Districts 1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 14, and 33. Additionally, Gibson says District 9 will require a primary to be held on February 16, as three candidates submitted sufficient paperwork to run for the seat. The top two vote-getters will proceed to the April 5th election.
No paperwork was submitted for County Board Supervisory District 27. Anyone interested in running as a write in for the seat should contact the County Clerk’s Office. Gibson also reminds everyone that photo ID is now the law in Wisconsin.
