One person received serious, but non life-threatening injuries in a two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac county. State Patrol Captain Tony Burrell says a small SUV collided with an unoccupied dump truck on Highway C at Rose-Eld Road west of Fond du lac. Flight for Life helicopter was called to the scene on shortly before 9am Tuesday.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
