1-7-16 filing deadline extended in one fdl county supervisory district

todayJanuary 7, 2016

The filing deadline has been extended for a Fond du Lac county board seat where the incumbent failed to collect the necessary signatures to file nomination papers.  The deadline has been extended to 5pm Friday in District 16 because supervisor Martin Schroeder did not file non-candidacy status.  Schroeder turned in his papers late Tuesday afternoon…but did not have enough valid signatures because some of the people who signed were from outside his district.  Tom Wendt also did not make ballot status, meaning Michael Will will be running uopposed in District Four.
