A Waupun man has been bound over for trial on child pornography charges after authorites allegedly found images and videos of child porn on his computer. 27 year old Robert Moungey waived his preliminary hearing in Dodge County Circuit Court on two counts of possession of child pornography. An arraignment hearing has been scheduled for January 27th. In another case, Moungey is accused of sexually assaulting a three year old boy and is charged with first degree sexual assault of a child. Police learned of the alleged abuse from Moungey’s wife, 25 year old Cassandra Scheuers. Scheuers is also accused of sexually assaulting the three year old and is charged with first degree sexual assault of a child.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
