1-21-16 nance murder trial underway

A jury trial is underway for a Fond du Lac woman charged in the shooting death of her husband.  During opening statements Wednesday afternoon assistant district attorney Dennis Krueger told the jury that Eve Nance killed her husband, Timothy Nance, because he was going to leave her for another woman.  Krueger used an overhead projector to show text messages between the couple and Tim Nance’s girlfriend.  Nance  is charged with first degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.  She is accused of shooting her husband twice in the head in their 10^th Street Fond du lac home and dumping his body in a wooded area in Milwaukee two days later.   His body was found on Thanksgiving Day, 2013.
