Individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, or who know someone who is, are invited to register now for Walk MS: Fond du Lac, the annual fundraising walk benefiting those living with the disease. This year’s walk will be held May 7 at Marian University. The walk begins at 10 a.m. with the pre-walk check-in starting at 9 a.m. More than 400 walkers are expected to participate with the goal of raising $37,000 locally. It will be one of 20 MS walks throughout Wisconsin in 2016, aimed at raising $1.5 million in the state. The funds support critical services and accelerate research breakthroughs to change lives and move closer to ending MS forever. People can participate in Walk MS individually or as a team. Volunteers are also needed. Anyone interested can visit walkMSwisconsin.org or call (855) 372-1331 for more information and to sign up.
