Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash Tuesday night in Dodge County. The crash happened on County Trunk G near Hawk Road in the Town of Westford. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department says a pickup truck driven by a 34 year old Beaver Dam man and a sedan driven by an 18 year old Beaver Dam man collided head-on. The 18 year old suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital and then flown to UW Hospital in Madison. A passenger in his car, a minor male, was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 34 year old suffered non-life threatening injuries and was also transported to Beaver Dam Hospital. The Sheriff’s Department says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
