A plea and sentencing hearing is scheduled for a Fond du Lac man accused of crashing into several vehicles while intoxicated. Thirty five year old Raoul Rosario is charged with OWI 5th and three counts of criminal damage to property. According to a criminal complaint Rosario was kicked out of the Bullpen bar last October 28th. According to the complaint Rosario smashed into several vehicles in the tavern parking lot. Rosario has previous OWI convictions in 2001, 2004, 2006 and 2008. A plea and sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 24th.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
