1-27-16 two children die in sheboygan falls fire

SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (AP) — Police say two children have died in a house fire in eastern Wisconsin.  Authorities previously had said three children had died. But the Sheboygan Falls Police Department now says it can confirm that only two of the children have died.  Among the dead is an 11-year-old who re-entered the house to rescue two other children.  A fourth child, a 9-year-old girl, escaped from the burning […]

1-27-16 fdl garage fire

https://twitter.com/fdlfire/status/692049827006382083 Nobody was injured in a garage fire in Fond du Lac.  Firefighters were called to the scene at 440 Portage Street Tuesday afternoon to find smoke coming from the door and window.  The fire was quickly extinguished but not before causing heat and smoke damage.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

1-27-16 dodge county sheriff says proposed owi laws a good start

1-27-16 plea and sentencing hearing scheduled for fdl man charged in owi crash

A plea and sentencing hearing is scheduled for a Fond du Lac man accused of crashing into several vehicles while intoxicated.  Thirty five year old Raoul Rosario is charged with OWI 5th  and three counts of criminal damage to property.  According to a criminal complaint Rosario was kicked out of the Bullpen bar last October 28th.   According to the complaint Rosario smashed into several vehicles in the tavern parking lot.  Rosario has previous OWI […]

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A state senator whose husband died while waiting for a transplant is proposing legislation requiring Wisconsin employers to allow unpaid leave for donating an organ.  Republican Sen.
