2-12-16 democratic presidential debate

todayFebruary 12, 2016

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Democratic Party leaders say Milwaukee was chosen to host Thursday’s  presidential debate because of the state’s battleground status in the Midwest.  Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz says she expects Democrats to do well this fall in Wisconsin considering the position of the Republican field, which she says is far to the right.   The Republican Party of Wisconsin was hoping Hillary Clinton and her entourage would see their billboard between the airport and the UW campus that calls attention to an FBI probe into the propriety of her home email server while she was secretary of state.   “What’s there to debate?” the billboard says. “We know Hillary Clinton can’t be trusted.”
